Ninja Gaiden |
|
This is one of the hardest games I've ever played, but it's a ton of fun if you
can handle it. Probably the best execution of the worlds sweetest
profession in game form. If you can keep up, this is one of those games
that just makes you feel bad ass (NINJAS!). Inexperienced and short-fused gamers
should stay away, but if you want a challenge this action title is a must.

Soul Caliber III |
|
Transcending history, and the world, a tale of souls and swords, eternally retold. Soul Caliber has alway been my favorite series in the underapreciated fighting genre, and this is game is
no exception. Soul Caliber III is the epidemy of fighting games, but there are a few complaints. Like every fighter
I've ever played, it offers little in the way of single player, and many of the improvements over the last game are subtle.
This game is a must for lovers of the 1 v 1 fight game such as myself, but lightweights and casual gamers might wanna
opt for the cheaper Soul Caliber 2, which is available on all modern platforms. The legend will never die!

| Halo 2 |
Platform: Xbox
Developer: Bungie
Multiplayer: 1-4, 1-16 via LAN or Xbox Live
Genre: First Person Shooter |
 |
| Even if you're no a gamer, you've probably heard about this game. Halo 2 is the sequel to the second biggest console shooter of all time, and is itself the first. I'm reviewing it more as a way to establish a review format(this is the first one) than to tell you how great it is, since you probably already know. If you don't, I'm telling you now, there is no better FPS right now, and I don't foresee one coming out any time soon. Its worth your money just for the single player mode, which while a bit too short, is tons of fun, and has loads of replay value. If your up for a challenge, Legendary delivers one, and I recommend anyone who enjoys the campaign try it. But beyond that, there's the incredible multiplayer. You can play on one box, which is fun, but for the full experience you'll wanna go online or at least to a LAN. Online provides nearly infinite entertainment, and if you have Xbox Live, you have no excuse for not buying this game. The recent patches have enhanced the experience even more, and new maps are available for download. This is by far the most strategic, deepest, and generally best games on the market right now. No surprise: A definate 5. |

Second Opinion: Comments: I was not payed by Bungie to write this, it's pretty much a sample review so I could figure out a format. Let me know if you have any ideas. But seriously, everbody loves Halo. Fo shizzle. - Aidan |
